JD Frizzell

J.D. Frizzell, President, is the Director of Fine Arts and Director of Vocal Music at Briarcrest Christian School in Memphis, TN. Frizzell, winner of the 2007 Integrales Composition Contest, has best selling published compositions worldwide. He was chosen by board of Tennessee Music Educators Associations as the 2011 Outstanding Young Music Educator. His choirs have performed at conventions and festivals, consistently receiving sweepstakes ratings. His a cappella group, OneVoice, has won the ICHSA National Wild Card Round, collaborated with New York Voices and Overboard, and released multiple award-winning albums, such as the 2016 Best High School Album, Higher Love. In 2015, they won the high school category of the Macy’s All School A Cappella Challenge. In 2016, they were featured on America’s Got Talent. He is also the founder of CadenzaOne.
